ABOUT THE PLANT

The Kovrov Veneer plant - one of the young developing veneer plants in Russia and worldworking enterprises in Vladimir district.

Russian and foreign building markets are characterized as stable in veneer consumption. Nearly 45 million cube meters of veneer produces yearly. This is because of the growing business activities in habitation repairs and modernization, furniture production, industrial and construction engineering.

 

In 2002 there was made a decision of building the veneer plant in Kovrov. It was taken into account that this town is highly developed, the personnel is skilled. There are rich sources of raw materials in Vladimir district and near by Ivanovo and Nizhny-Novgorod regions.

The plant is situated on the right bank of Klyazma river in Kovrov, that is 65 km from Vladimir and 250 km from Moscow.

Joint-stock Company "Kovrov veneer combinat (plant)" has a highly effective eguipment, large producing capacity, financial potential, highly professional staff.

 

The guiality of production is of high rating, that is proved by stable business contacts in Russia and abroad.

The control of the whole production cycle, from the reception of raw materials up to finished articles, provides the high quality of production.

Now the Kovrov plant produces birch sheets of veneer of various grades and sises according to State Standard N. 99-96.
